Elcot Park & Elcot Mews has close ties to the countryside. One of the many benefits of working from our site is that it backs onto a place of natural beauty. The Marlborough Downs is a protected natural landscape comprising of chalk hills and broad valleys, all alongside the winding River Kennett. This natural space is a fantastic place to clear your head or take your dog walking during a busy day.

We have a charity based on our site called ARK. Ark specialise in protecting the natural chalk streams which run through the downs; these are some of the rarest in the world. The charity also monitors and helps look after the wildlife along with the natural eco systems that thrive here.

Local Wonders

45 minutes from our site you can find one of the wonders of the world! Stonehenge can be miles or even countries away for many but it’s just a short drive away from Elcot Park. This English Heritage site is home to the famous Stone Circle and prehistoric houses of people who lived in Avebury over 4000 years ago.

A closer place of interest is Savernake Forest which is a 20 minute drive from our site. This vast landscape includes a tree over 1100 years old named the Big Bellied Oak. There are picnic areas across the forest and plenty to see & do at any time of the year.
