The Open Space was founded with a simple but heartfelt goal: to create a place where families could connect, play, and grow together. After welcoming her own little one a year ago, the founder noticed a gap in Marlborough for activities catering to young children and parents — and decided to do something about it.

“I’ve always dreamed of having a little place of my own to run messy play classes, but I also wanted to create something bigger for the wider community,” she explains. “Since having my little one, I realised how much Marlborough needed something like this — that’s what inspired me to create The Open Space.”

The Open Space is based in Draycott West, a bright and versatile 620 sq. ft. unit at Elcot Park. With its welcoming layout, modern amenities, and convenient access, it provides the perfect setting for family-friendly activities, creative workshops, and wellbeing sessions.

“One of the highlights has been how warm and welcoming everyone has been at Elcot Park — it’s such a lovely atmosphere here,” says the founder.
